Five minutes with this little girl and if your cheeks aren’t hurting from smiling so big, there is something wrong with you (seriously, something totally wrong!). She is love, she is play, she is sweetness down to the core of her being, and she was shining in my field this night. Capturing this family and their love was a dream. This age is something to hold on to, savoring each and every barefoot and giggling moment of their innocence, their love.

ELECTRIC STOVE. I have often though about how the women cooked before electricity. Imagine on hot summer days, a hot wood stove cooking, guess they had a sauna and didn’t know it, well maybe they did. Before that I guess it was done over a fireplace. Not even a refrigerator to store the freshly plucked chicken.
