six years ago we stood in a field together. she was pregnant with her first, me with my second and as I was shooting her, tears rolled down her face overcome with joy. it’s a moment I’ll never forget and, in that moment, I should have predicted that she would become one of my best girlfriends and our boys thick and thieves. always thankful to make art for a living, but even more thankful for the people it’s brought into my life.
