my ritual: prayer & thanksgiving.

it’s how I start my morning and begin each session I photograph.  this candle celebrates all of it.  it represents every prayer offered that, like smoke, has sweetly risen above.  for families and friends that have been carried on the heart.  prayers wrapped over those not even known.  for all that weighs heavy on a mama’s heart.  for the celebrations and joy and reminders of love in between.  for every word intentionally spoken and resoundingly heard.

whatever your ritual may be, may this candle comfort you and be a gentle reminder of the pureness and goodness of the heart.  look up my friend, there is always light to be found there.

proceeds from the purchase of this candle will go directly to created, an non-profit, non-denominational christian organization whose goal is to offer an open door for those exploited in the sex industry to receive services and support. by offering new life through a relationship with Jesus Christ, a message of identity (a name), a place for belonging and community (a place), and advocacy for the women (a voice) they hope to bring light, hope, and transformation to women caught in prostitution and other forms of sexual exploitation.

nearly a year in the making, this highly fragranced candle is blended with pure essential oil and fine fragrance.

the scent:  imagine fresh lavender flowers rubbed between your finger tips, laced with soft earthy notes of rosemary and vetiver.  very calming and clean to smell and reminiscent of your favorite spa, highly scented but not overpowering.

12 oz. candle hand-poured in small batches in the heart of old seminole heights, tampa, florida.

100% usa soy wax, double cotton wick in a beautiful frosted glass with wood lid.  burn time approx 55 hours. free of harmful phthalates, dyes and additives

packaged in a beautiful reusable pouch with my ritual story included on a small card, it makes the most thoughtful gift and the sweetest addition to any home.
