I vividly remember sitting at my desk as the email banter began.  It was sometime in 2012 and pretty typical of Shan and I… one of us had an idea and the other was the sounding board.  This magical afternoon we daydreamed and envisioned a maternity session in a grocery store, a grocery basket chock full of all things craved and delighted in during the pregnancy.  A tale of one fabulous mama in the making.

These little conversations we have, well they sit with us, they grow steam and then, if we’re lucky we bring them to fruition.  This one, years later.  On October 18th, 2013, I found out my best friend, my sister from another mister, was pregnant.  On May 9th, 2014, two silly girls walked into Fresh Market and had the time of our lives living out our little afternoon daydream.
